It all began with my very first cup of cacao, sipped at a festival in the heart of the jungle in the mountains of Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta, Colombia. The grounding essence, the intentionality, the ritualistic ceremonial aspects, the connection to community. And then, there was the heart-opening magic of cacaosito itself. That entire journey, sparked by a deep calling into the heart space, shaped who I am today. I had traveled there to pursue my yoga teacher training, with the intention of living a truly heart-centered life. It was in that sacred space that cacao entered my reality, illuminating the path of the heart. Cacao became a teacher, a bridge, and a portal to deeper connection with myself, the whispers of the heart, and the world around me. 
 

As I continued following the calling of my heart, cacao seemed to meet me at every turn. Whether in Aruba, Colombia, the Netherlands, Bali, Nicaragua, Gautemala or Thailand, it kept weaving its way into my life. With each encounter, my connection to the medicine deepened. I found myself overflowing with love, creativity, and the desire to share the sweetness I had experienced. Slowly, I began opening ceremonial spaces with cacao, planting seeds of love and connection within my community and then slowly beyond. The ceremonies blossomed into sacred spaces where hearts softened, walls crumbled, and true connection flourished.
 

But I knew this was just the beginning. The more I journeyed with cacao, the more I understood its potential. It wasn’t just about creating ceremonial moments; it was about inspiring others to carry the medicine of cacao into their daily lives, to open their own heart-centered rituals, and to embark on their own transformative journeys. 

 

And so Cadushi Cacao was birthed from the depths of my heart to inspire you to embrace the beauty, ritual, and sacredness of drinking ceremonial cacao among our beautiful cactus in the "mondi", the forest of Aruba. And is slowly flourishing beyond...
